GREAT BERNESE
are a crossbred of
GREAT PYRENEES
and
BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG

Our GREAT BERNESE Puppies
are a higher percentage of
BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG
Our select breeding program, involving healthy genetic diversity, is a result of multigenerational breeding planning, foresight and experience that has consistently produced healthy puppies, who live long healthy lives, while maintaining the most beloved qualities of the BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG, as well as the wonderful GREAT PYRENEES (to a lesser degree), and extending their average lifespan to 12 - 13 years, (typically exceeding the averages of both purebred breeds).
Below is our breeding program over the years, as we sought to produce a healthier Bernese Mountain Dog - mostly Bernese - by adding genetic diversity (hybrid vigor).
Above all, our 5 dogs are our beloved family members, soulmates and wise teachers. They decide if and when we have a litter of puppies. We absolutely LOVE every single puppy and it is a true honor to be a part of their early lives.
